The Asian Law and Economics Association or “AsLEA” is an international non-profit association, established in 2005. The objectives of the Association are to stimulate the study of Law and Economics; to provide assistance for scholars embarking on this new field of research; to promote scientific research in law and economics; to bridge the doctrines of law and economics in Asian areas; and to promote or to organize the use of criteria, analyses and models of law and economics within the framework of political management and jurisprudence.

The inaugural Asian Law and Economics Association Conference was held at Seoul National University School of Law in Seoul, Korea. From that time, the Asian Law and Economics Association Conference has been holding annually at different places throughout Asia.

We, the AsLEA Committee 2019 from Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, are delighted to announce that, this year, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics will be co-hosting the 15th Asian Law and Economics Association Conference on June 27-28, 2019 at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

We find this Conference a very good opportunity to get to know new people from across the world, discuss and exchange idea, and share interesting experiences. We, therefore, hope to see you joining our Conference. See you soon!
